Carrie Underwood is seriously pissed at the NHL

Carrie Underwood has a bone to pick with the NHL following Nashville’s 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.

The former “American Idol” champ, married to Predators center Mike Fisher since 2010, vented her frustrations on Twitter after Nashville forward Filip Forsberg appeared to tie the game by hitting a loose puck into the net with 0.6 seconds left in regulation. The goal was overturned following a review, citing goaltender interference.

“Goaltender interference? Are you out of your mind? On what planet? #WorstCallEver @PredsNHL #NSHvsFLA,” Underwood tweeted.

A “livid” Underwood, 35, later told the NHL to “fix this.”

Fisher, 37, later chimed in on Twitter, adding, “If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s you’re always right.”

After the league’s Situation Room in Toronto determined “the deliberate actions of [Viktor] Arvidsson’s stick caused [Roberto] Luongo to spin and cause the covered puck to come loose prior to the goal,” Predators head coach Peter Laviolette stated they “100 percent disagree with the call.”

Fisher retired after last season, but had second thoughts and rejoined the Predators in February as they try to make it back to the Stanley Cup, where they lost to the Penguins in six games last season.

The loss kept the Predators from clinching the Central Division and the Western Conference’s top seed. The Panthers remain in a tight race for a wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
