Carrie Underwood’s son eager to erase Mike Fisher’s playoff run

Mike Fisher’s final push for the Stanley Cup was fun while it lasted.

After falling 5-1 to the Jets in Game 7 on Thursday night, Fisher, 37, closed the chapter on his career in Nashville after coming back to the Predators in February for one last run. On Friday, his 3-year-old son, Isaiah, attempted to erase the last memory of this year’s playoffs, as wife Carrie Underwood looked on.

“Prediction: This won’t end well…,” Underwood, 35, captioned on Instagram, as their only child attempted to shave Fisher’s playoff beard. The country singer later quipped, “saving $$$ on grooming now that he’s out of a job…”

Fisher announced in January he would come out of retirement to help the Predators make another run at the Stanley Cup, after losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins in last year’s finals.

As for Underwood, she has now hopped on the Vegas bandwagon, as the Golden Knights’ historic run at the Stanley Cup continues Saturday night against the Jets in the Western Conference finals.

“And I’ll also say, until next season, I am officially a @GoldenKnights fan! I’ll enjoy seeing them make a little history!!” Underwood tweeted Thursday night, along with an additional offer.
