Henrik Lundqvist’s custom Godfather suit rocks at All-Star Weekend

A man in Henrik Lundqvist’s position can’t afford to look ridiculous, and the Rangers goalie made sure he didn’t at the NHL All-Star Weekend.

Making his fifth All-Star Game appearance in San Jose, Lundqvist, known as much for his satorial chops as his big-time stops, wore a custom suit adorned with quotes from one of his favorite movies, “The Godfather” on the jacket lining.

Among the lines to make the cut in the three-piece suit:

“I have learned more in the streets than in any classroom.”

“Great men are not born great, they grow great.”

“Friendship is everything. Friendship is more than talent. It is more than the government. It is almost the equal of family.”

Lundqvist will help tend the nets for the Metro Division squad on Sunday, and with a share of a $1 million prize, you can bet it won’t be personal, but strictly business for the King.
