H&M to roll out in Israel
Fashion retailer H&M is to open its first stores in Israel after signing a franchise deal with Match Retail Ltd. The first H&M store under the
new partnership is due to open during 2010.
“There has been a great interest in H&M from the Israeli market for quite some time and we believe that our business concept will suit the Israeli market well,” said H&M CEO Rolf Eriksen.
Match Retail Ltd is a privately owned company founded by the Horesh family to handle H&M in Israel. The Horesh family also operates businesses that distribute Toyota and Lexus in Israel.
