TJDC wins three awards
The Jewellery Display Company (TJDC) took home three Gold Awards at the Shopfitting And Display Industry (SADI) Awards. After six years designing innovative display concepts, TJDC was recognised for its achievements in the categories Innovation in Product, Best Visual Merchandising Product and Grand Prix Product. TJDC took gold in all three awards for its innovative necklace display, created for luxury jeweller Boodles. The Jewellery Display Company’s bespoke service was recognised as second to none. Company Director Jacob Nightburg said: “I believe that this award is a living example of what can be achieved between a daring client and our in house designers. This actual project took nearly a year to perfect and just one month to achieve design registration attesting to its uniqueness.” Plaster cast versions were filed down to ensure the necklaces were positioned correctly prior to the moulds being produced. The judges were impressed by its “graceful shape and flawlessly designed finish” and said that its sculptured form was attractive even without the addition of diamond jewellery. The Jewellery Display Company provides to gift shops, galleries, department stores, high street and luxury jewellers and designers with display, props and packaging. Recently the company unveiled its display for World Duty Free’s jewellery offer at newly opened Terminal 5 where it is showcasing brands including D&G, Vivienne Westwood, Simon Carter and Swarovski among many others.
