PSG Director of Football Patrick Kluivert sends memo about confidentiality to players… it gets leaked

PSG Director of Football Patrick Kluivert sent an email to the club’s first team squad at the beginning of the week about stopping leaks to the press… an email that ironically has been obtained by L’Équipe.

In a week where Kluivert has faced suggestions that he might have been involved with criminals concerning a betting operation, the under-fire Dutchman sent an email reminding players that the only way in which news should be coming out of PSG is through official channels:

“You know that the life of the professional squad must be protected, that what happens on a daily basis must not be discussed or shared externally, only official communication has this role. Otherwise it is likely to harm the balance of the group and the image of the club and give rise to sanctions.”

Kluivert’s reign continues to come under scrutiny…
