I'm Not Exaggerating When I Say Blake Lively's Loose Curls Match Her Outfit Perfectly

Monochromatic looks are always chic, whether we're talking about makeup or clothing. There's just something so stylish and unexpected about committing every aspect of your outfit to the same color. And if you want to take your monochromatic look to an even more unexpected level, do as the eternally fashionable Blake Lively did and match your ensemble to your hair.

Lively attended the Michael Kors fashion show in Brooklyn during New York Fashion Week on Monday, September 11, looking absolutely stunning in one of the designer's styles: a sleeveless jumpsuit with swishy, bell-bottom hems. The camel-hue one-piece was covered in similarly-colored sequins and belted with skinny, also-camel-toned belt. But in the context of Lively's hair, I think I might stop calling that color camel and start calling it bronde.

If you were to cinematically pan Lively's look from toes (which remained hidden under the extra-long pants) to head, the outfit would seamlessly transition into enviable loose, long curls. Truly, the jumpsuit looks like someone eyedropper'd the actor's dark, golden blonde waves and shadow roots and tapped "fill."

And just when I thought this was the most monochromatic look of all time, Lively added another layer: the camel (sorry — bronde) coat of my dreams, 80-degree weather be damned.

Obviously matching one's outfits to one's hair on a regular basis would mean having a very limited wardrobe, but if it meant looking even half as fabulous as Blake Lively, I'd consider cutting out all colors but the one that grows out of my head.
