Mario Balotelli fires back at claim that he was too scared to take last night’s penalty

OGC Nice striker Mario Balotelli took to Instagram to quash claims that he was too scared to take a penalty last night in his side’s derby loss to Marseille.

“Don’t tell me that I was scared to take the penalty. I have taken much more difficult ones. I was trying to help a team-mate who was having a difficult evening. Seriously, those who think I was scared have never seen me play football. Idiot.”
